Easily make Google Talk Always on Top using Pin option is a hidden method in Google talk windows Application. Most of the Gmail users are also well users of Google Talk / Gtalk, But most of them don’t know about this pin option. Everyone in workstation, mainly Support Assistants wants to make their Google Talk “Always on Top” of the windows, because when they are chatting with their client they used to search for any documents related to their chats. So once they went through other applications, the Google Talk Automatically will Minimized. To getting Avoid Gtalk Minimized, the PIN option is used to make Gtalk Always on Top. So they can use other application at the same time Gtalk wont be minimized and always Sticky on Screen.

About Google Talk:

Google Talk is Chatting Application offered by Google Accessed via Google or Gmail Accounts. Its Provides Text, Audio, Video Chatting online available for OS platforms such as Windows, Blackberry, Android, etc. The XMPP (Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol) is used in Google Talk for Voice/Video chatting over Peer-Peer connection. Google Talk also offers Sending files over Chating which is ease to access like Drag and Drop able. A Gtalk client is also integrated into Google pages such as Gmail, Orkut, Google Plus, iGoogle, etc., that’s don’t need to Download. There’s lot in User interface changes like Profile Picture, Chat Theme, Notifications and Audio Alerts. So, no one is unknown from Google Talk.

Easily make Google Talk Always on Top using Pin option

Here is the Normal Google Talk without Pin option Enabled.

Open a new Text file and copy the below Code to it. Then Save As the text file to Gtalk.reg (.reg is important).

After saving the Text file as .reg file, Open the .reg you saved as Below shown.

Note: You must Quit Google talk before run this .reg file.

After opening the .reg file a Prompt box will show, Click YES.

Then another Alert box with pop, Click OK. You’ve done it.

Now the Pin option is Enabled for your Google Talk. A PIN icon confirms that as below.

By Default the pin option is Disabled. To enable Pin option just Click the pin icon to set Gtalk Always on Top.

Thats all you’ve enabled Pin Option in Google Talk.
