File Location in an operating system is “C:windows”. And File type is “explorer.exe” also referred as “Windows Shell”.
Shortcut Keys: “Windows+E”

Open the “My Computer” or Windows Explorer(Windows+E).
Then Click the “Organize” tab on the top-left corner. and the Click “Folder and Search Options”.
Now the Folder Option window will open. Then Click “View” tab.
Make sure the option “Always show icons, Never thumbnails” was “Ticked” as below.
Click OK. That’s all You’ve DONE. !!
Conclusion:
Mostly Windows Explorer will Stopped working when we Handling the Images or other Media Folders. Because Some of the Image files might be Corrupted. So this method Fix the “Windows Explorer Has Stopped Working” for Sure.

Method 2-Windows Explorer Has Stopped Working Perfect Solution FIX :
- Click Start, and type “cmd” in Search box.
- Once you saw cmd.exe, right-click cmd.exe, and then click “Run as administrator”.
- At the command prompt, type Sfc /scannow and then press ENTER.
This method is know as “Run System File Checker” to scan and check your files. Thats it.

This did NOT fix the problem on either of my Windows 7 64-bit machines.
What finally worked was UNINSTALLING WINZIP 12 and getting it off of my machine. This is what finally solved this problem on BOTH of my Windows 7 64-bit Machines..
