Open the “My Computer” or Windows Explorer(Windows+E).
Then Click the “Organize” tab on the top-left corner. and the Click “Folder and Search Options”.
Now the Folder Option window will open. Then Click “View” tab.
Make sure the option “Always show icons, Never thumbnails” was “Ticked” as below.
Click OK. That’s all You’ve DONE. !!
Conclusion:

- Click Start, and type “cmd” in Search box.
- Once you saw cmd.exe, right-click cmd.exe, and then click “Run as administrator”.
- At the command prompt, type Sfc /scannow and then press ENTER.
This method is know as “Run System File Checker” to scan and check your files. Thats it.

Right clicking on Cmd.exe command box was not giving option of “Run as Administrator” or any such selection/sub selection.

Hi Everyone. Can anyone help here. My Windows 7 explorer stopped working and restarted everytime i try to paste images on my desktop copied from my old digicam (connected via usb). What to do?
just to add I have already tried both the fixes mentioned on the blog but the problem persists.
